Due to the COVID19 pandemic, the English Department office will be closed until further notice.

Staff and faculty are teleworking. Please contact individual staff or faculty members by phone or email.

To check for information on specific classes and how your professor will handle the class, check for your professor’s instructions in Canvas first. If you cannot find the answer to your specific question there, email your professor. You can look up faculty here or here. Contact information for English Department Staff can be found here. Undergraduate advising will be handled remotely. If you have an advising appointment scheduled with Ms. Kelley while the University is working remotely, please keep it. Do not cancel. Ms. Kelley will be available online (through email or gmail chat) or by phone (704-687-0065) during your scheduled advising time. If you have complicated inquiries that need to be resolved, please make an appointment in Connect with Ms. Kelley and plan to reach out to her via phone/email/chat on that day/time. Graduate advising will also be handled remotely. Contact Dr. Vetter if you have questions or would like to make an appointment for a virtual meeting.
