CLGO wins Outstanding Organization Award

Congratulations! The Children's Literature Graduate Organization (CLGO) just received the Outstanding Graduate Student Organization Award.  The competition was among university-wide graduate student organizations. The award recognizes the graduate student organization that demonstrated consistent flexibility, initiative, creativity, and perseverance.  The winning organzation, according to the description, "will have made a meaningful contribution to graduate students, the University, and/or the surrounding community; and organized activities, events, and programs that have had a significant impact on the quality of campus life at UNC Charlotte." And that is certainly true of CLGO!

The officers of CLGO are: Amy Arnott - Co-President; Laura Burgess - Co-President; Katherine Tallent - Vice President; Jessie Cortez - Treasurer; Suzi Spillane - Secretary; Melissa LaFrate - Senator.  The advisor to CLGO is Professor Paula Connolly.
