The course work for undergraduate English Majors requires 39 credit hours. A designated minor or second major is also required, as indicated below:

• thirty-three (33) hours of required English courses,
• six (6) hours of other courses required for the major
• and a designated minor (or second major) of at least eighteen (18) hours.

It's difficult to identify a single key experience that Undergraduate English Majors at UNC Charlotte all share. And yet there are central questions to which our majors pursue answers.
