Kirk Melnikoff Named Bank of America Teaching Finalist

Professor Kirk Melnikoff has been named one of the finalists of the 2017 Bank of America Teaching Award.  Prof. Melnikoff is a scholar of Renaissance literature and has written extensively about publishing history, and the work of Robert Greene (1558-1592), Christopher Marlowe(1564-1593), and, of course, William Shakespeare (1564-1616).  Melnikoff's important book, Elizabethan Publishing and the Makings of Literary Culture, will be published very shortly by University of Toronto Press.  Over the years, Melnikoff has mentored scores of students here at UNC Charlotte and has guided almost as many of our students  through Shakespeare Abroad experiences.  Congratulations!
